
My name is Andonios Kouninis. I started lifting weights in 2014 while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Over the last decade I have become a certified personal trainer, taken undergraduate biomechanics courses, trained at world class gyms, and worked with fitness and movement professionals to unlock the potential of the human body.
It is my mission to help teach as many people as possible the beauty and strength of which their body is capable. Regardless of age, gender, or past injuries, I believe everyone can look and feel healthier through strength training.
Like most things in life, I believe the best approach to training is a balanced one. We stay up to date on scientific literature to bring you the most effective exercises and training methods to reach your strength and fitness goals. But the best training program in the world won't produce results without hard work, and lots of it. At The Parthenon, we will also give you the skills to become a mentally tough and disciplined athlete.
